• We're expecting mostly sunny skies today, with a high temperature near 45 degrees but wind chill values between 25 and 35 early, with a west wind 15 to 18 miles per hour, gusting as high as 33. It will be mostly clear overnight, with a low around 33. Tuesday will be sunny, with a high near 48, and Wednesday will be mostly sunny, also with a high near 48.

• Democratic Southold Town Board candidate Alexa Suess declared victory in her race Friday evening, as her lead over her closest Republican competitor, Chris Talbot, increased to 147 votes in the Friday afternoon tally including absentee ballots from the Suffolk County Board of Elections.
